Based on a true story! (Yes, I really do have a Magikarp. Well...actually, it's a Gyarados now. But that's beside the point!) I'm sure a lot of people have actually done this themselves, I'm the one that decided to make a sprite comic about it!

Fun facts about this comic
- I'd been wanting to do this comic for a couple weeks now, but didn't have any idea where to find the sprites. Then I had a stroke of dumb luck and found the sprites I needed at the sites below.
- The character sprites and battle backgrounds came from The Spriters Resource.
- The map background was plucked from the Bulbapedia.
- The forest highlights were hand-made by me using the circle tool in NeoPaint.
- This was not my original vision, but I couldn't think of anything better/more funny.
- Part 2 is funnier.
