-Story- Tumblr - There's Always Hope, Part 2As the taxi pulled up to the apartment building, Doug paid the taxi driver with a cash card, and the two exited the vehicle. Hope took a moment to survey the area.
The first thing she noticed was that the street was on a minor slant going downhill in the direction they'd come from. The buildings on that slope were built on flat areas which touched the curb here and there. There was no room for actual ground, most of the buildings occupying the entire parcel they sat on, but some buildings sat back enough to have plants out front. A number of buildings were also elevated off the ground, accessible by short flights of three or four stairs leading to their doorways.
Hope's attention then turned to the apartment building in front of her. It was a tan-brown color and stood at least five floors tall. It didn't have any fancy decorations, but it did have a nice, solid-looking door and was clearly labeled "Ortega Hall" by a sign to th

Some children played games of all sorts. Some people made and ate food. Others still appeared to be taking a nap in the warm part of the day. One such person was a young lady...
Off by herself in a secluded area behind some greenery, a woman lay with eyes closed, her green and yellow clothing helping to hide her from prying eyes. However, the pose in which she lay did not suggest a restful sleep. Or perhaps any sort of sleep... Her arms and legs were sprawled in different directions and her head was turned to one side, suggesting she'd either fallen unconscious in that position, or, given her location, was casually dumped there.
An hour passed before someone noticed her. A shady man with a thick, short beard and dark sunglasses walked over to her location. Kneeling down, he

I'd like to formally apologize for my outbursts in my last letter. It's just that tensions around here are running kind of high and I've personally been under a lot of stress. God, I'm so beyond late with this comic... I wish I'd thought of this a month sooner!

W-Joe from a random Bonus Time comic returns to show me his latest creation! ...a sheep!
Truth be told, I don't actually mind Sheepman that much. But, me being me, I have to make fun of the robot because I mean...he's a freaking sheep. A sheep that shoots lightning bolts from his backside. (Reminds me of something Mickey Goldmill said, actually...) What's not to make fun of there? Then again, Nintendo did it first...

Special thanks to the awesome people of Sprites INC for giving me the means to make the first Sheepman sprite edit ever!!!

Another special shoutout to *MalamiteLtd, whose Easter Egg from his classic Flash cartoon, Mega Man and the Pompous Robots, I kind of ripped off here. XD (Could be worse. The original idea I had really was more of a rip-off! This just gives a nod to the ending and tip-toes around the "c'mere and check this out" concept.)
